Academic Catalog
2025-2026 Undergrad
Use this catalog to explore degree programs, find classes, and discover academic passions. Start your academic journey here.

Welcome to Roanoke College! This catalog is your travel guide toward graduation.
This catalog is an academic guidebook for our students at Roanoke
College, as well as a source of information for prospective students and
others interested in the College. You can find all sorts of important
information inside that will help you navigate toward your degree! The catalog describes the requirements for all
academic programs and for graduation; provides information about
financial aid and scholarships; explains regulations and faculty
policies that govern academic life; and acquaints students with the
Roanoke College faculty and staff.
I encourage every student to become familiar with the Catalog. If you need further explanation of any part of it, faculty advisors and staff members in the Office of the Registrar, the Academic Affairs Office, and the Center for Learning and Teaching can answer your questions and would love to speak with you. Advisors are here to assist you, but it is ultimately each student’s responsibility to register correctly, to complete the necessary coursework for graduation, and to abide by the academic regulations of the College, as set forth by the faculty. This catalog can help you to accomplish all those important things. I wish you all the best as you find your purpose and pursue your degree!
Kathy J. Wolfe, Ph.D.
Vice President for Academic Affairs and Shirley C. and Donald E. Morel Dean of the College
